Softball.

For these last few weeks my class has been doing softball!

We do softball every Monday with our teacher is called Sting!

We practice to catch it with cone.    

This  week we got to wear softball gloves! Yay!

I was a buddy with Paige R, My best friend!

We had to do a lot of running and most of us got to hit the ball with a metal bat!

Athletes day

In this blog today I am blogging about our athletics day at school!                                                On the day of athletics we had to do shot put ,discus, high jump and long jump.

I did really good at long and high jump I didn't get to zones though (If you don't know what zones is then I will tell you). Zones is something when on sports day if you get a goal on something you get to go to zones in my class had to jump at least 95 cm I was SO close I jumped 94cm. Another girl stella, in my class jumped 97cm she was so good she was the only one is our class to go to zones but they are still 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for sports day. I came 2nd and stella came 1st and Paige R who is stellas and my friend came 3rd.

Understanding negative numbers

             Kia Ora my name is Paige and I am going to tell you about negative numbers!

We have been doing negative numbers in math this week and it can be hard sometimes.

Negative numbers are numbers under zero.

The funny thimg about negative numbers it that -25 is bigger than -35 becuase the numbers are getting lower, becuase it is under zero.

Life Education!

 Kia Ora guys or girls of the world!!

Today this blog is going to be about how me and my class went to Life Education!

We had this small campervan come to our school and their is one lady and her name is Keri and she has a giraffe named Harold,and he was very funny!

We had a lot of fun and played games! We a so lernt about our brain and all the stuff in there!

Did you know 90% of our brain is water? That is why you have to drink a lot of it!

Have you ever been to life Education?

I found the part of how the brain is the only part of you body that is completely covered in bones!

Speeches 2020

This is a blog about my speech!As you all know by my title!

This speech is about the future about what I think will happen in the future!                                                   So we are writing our speech for writing. It was hard and tricky but most of us have completed it!                                                                                                 

We do this after lunch break everyday and I have done mine I have a introduction and a body and a conclusion I just need to time it and a few more little things to edit !

I am feeling nervous because I get stage fright easiy and I do not like doing speeches in front of people.

All the year fives have to have it 1:30 mins - 2:00 mins other wise it is to long or short and the year fours need to have it 1:00 min - 1:30 mins.

 I am going to show you my reading work today!! The reading we have been have done is called the last straw.

It is about pranking, but about going to far!!!

We have been reading text and working on slides!

My next step is probably to make some of this a bit better and tell more about this!

I think when it got hard was when I have to think really hard about it and find more info....

Pranking is fun and you can have a good laugh, but sometimes it can turn into bullying. And that is not good for anyone.

Hi bloggers today I am going to show my work, but this work is going to be about.....WINTER SPORT!! YAY! I am doing netball for my sport my friends are doing other stuff, My friends are Stella,Bridie and Paige R. they are going hockey. Stella is supper good at it so she goes with the other older kids because she has been playing hockey for 4 years now.

We are playing winter sports because we can have fun and play agents other schools and play fair.

Cross Country!!!!

HELLO PEOPLE OF THE WORLD!! I am Paige as you all might know and my blog today is going to be about...... YEP! you guessed it CROSS COUNTRY! YAY! To be honest I do not like it but it is still fun! One of the things I did not like about it was that we had to run two laps around the school field then go to the demain and run one lap around the field THEN we had to come back and do ANOTHER lap around the school field THEN we finished! FINALLY! 

I ran with 2 friends of mine,there names are Paige R and Bridie B

Reflect home time.

Hi,my name is Paige B and I am going to reflect my time in isolation.

When I first went into isolation:

First I was sad after a few day because I missed all my friends and I want to see them.But all was ok when I had to do my work because if it was cold I did not have to go outside in the cold and instead I got to go on my chromebook and play games on it in front of the fire or in my bed.When I came back to school we had to keep 2m apret and it was not like school school there was only 8 - 9 - 10 kids there and we had to have our class in one room like we had to work in rumi first then in the library  and if we was there with our sisters or brother and we had to keep in our une bubble and it was a table yes a table!The only thing we had to work with was a table,of course we had our work stuff from home but we had to still do all of our work and when it was lunch and morning tea time we had to go and hand sanitas a bubble at a time!

in these bubbels this is where some of the kids where for there bubbels and they had to stay in them!

Insects in reading.

Greetings to you,today I am going to show and tell you about my work called the world of insects.It is  learning about the live of an insect.We are doing this as part of my reading class. It is to think deeper into our learning.

It was complicating at some point  of it,I have done most of it but I have still got a lot.When I was stuck on something I would stop and have a little think about it for a moment until  I get it.
